Abstract
The vegetation of Sonoran Pronghhorn habitat on the BLM lands and Cabeza Prieta NWR near Ajo, Arizona. This dataset and other ancillary data can be found in the University of Arizona campus reposistory here: http://arizona.openrepository.com/arizona/handle/10150/128469/browse?type=title
Purpose
To map at the level of association the vegetation of Sonoran Pronghorn habitat west of highway 85, north and west of Organ Pipe Cactus NM. This includes BLM lands and the Cabeza Prieta NWR. This datasets is made available to interested persons through the University of Arizona's instance of Open Geoportal. It has been provided to assist educators, students, researchers, and policy makers in mapping and/or analysis applications.
Supplemental Information
NPS cooperative project supported by Organ Pipe Cactus NM and the BLM, Yuma Office. The minimal mapping unit is one hectare. This polygon shapefile shows the distribution of 20 plant associvations and sub-associations on lands with a slope of 20% or less. This shapefile includes a polygon of slopes greater than 20%.
