Abstract
This dataset offers supplementary info to the vegetation associations identified in CabezaPrietaNWR_Vegetation_2004.shp. The dataset depicts the routes travelled during field work mapping the vegetation associations of Sonoran Pronghorn habitat west of highway 85, north and west of Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. This includes BLM Lands and the Cabeza Preita NWR. This dataset and other ancillary data can be found in the University of Arizona campus repository here: http://arizona.openrepository.com/arizona/handle/10150/128469/browse?type=title
Purpose
To map at the level of association the vegetation of Sonoran Pronghorn habitat west of highway 85, north and west of Organ Pipe Cactus NM. This includes BLM lands and the Cabeza Prieta NWR. This datasets is made available to interested persons through the University of Arizona's instance of Open Geoportal. It has been provided to assist educators, students, researchers, and policy makers in mapping and/or analysis applications.
Supplemental Information
NPS cooperative project supported by Organ Pipe Cactus NM and the BLM, Yuma Office. This shapefile shows the routes travelled during the vegetation surveys. A total of 413 locations were sampled, and a summary of these is available in the report, Vegetation of Cabeza Prieta NWR.
